Protection of the tangible external form

With copyright, what is protected from plagiarism is the tangible and original external form of a certain intellectual work, regardless of the technical implementation of the inventive idea, which should be protected by an industrial invention patent.

The service that subrogates publication is carried out by the Italian Society of Authors and Publishers (SIAE). The process entails the deposit of a copy of the work, the payment of a deposit fee and the payment of a five-year fee for custody, as well as additional services related to protection of the rights and the work's use.
